 Hartlepool Lifeboat Station


 

Hartlepool Lifeboat Station is Situated on Ferry Road in Hartlepool at the End of Irvines Quay. 

The All Weather Lifeboat is moored afloat on the approach channel to the deep water berth and Kafiga landings.

The Inshore Lifeboat is kept inside the boathouse and launched from a slipway using a carriage and winch.

From this position both lifeboats are able to launch at any state of tide and are not hampered by the weather.

Downstairs the building has an office a mechanics workshop, the Atlantic 75 boathouse (pictured above) and a crew changing room with toilet and shower facilities.

Upstairs  there are two crew training rooms, an office for the L.O.M., and a galley.
