report by Hartlepool coastwatch of a vessel in difficulty. Launch
was cancelled prior to ILB entering the water as the
vessel was assisted by a passing fishing vessel. |

Launch requested by Humber Coastguard to an out of
control RIB in the Hartlepool channel. The RIB had earlier hit a
wave causing 2 people to be ejected overboard, the RIB, with 1 dog
remaining on board continued under power in tight circles.
Hartlepool Lifeboat and ILB launched and brought the vessel under control
using a rope strung out between the 2 lifeboats. The RIB was
controlled and Toby (The dog) was returned safely to his owner, who
along with his companion was recovered from the water by passing yachts.

beacon off Redcar, Nothing was found, thought to be a false alarm with
good intent. |

Missing person found safe in Crimdon Caravan park by Police, All Units
