60 17:33 14-10-06 B766 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to assist a 18' vessel with 2 persons on board that had drifted onto rocks near to the Heugh following mechanical failure.  Vessel towed to Hartlepool Marina.
59 10:30 11-10-06 14-37 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to assist Bomb Disposal Team in Foggy conditions.
58 11:45 10-10-06 14-37 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard following a call from a fishing vessel that had picked up a mine in its nets.  Hartlepool Lifeboat launched to provide safety cover and await the arrival of the Royal Navy Bomb Disposal Team.  Mine later deposited on Sea bed North of Hartlepool to await disposal on the following day.
56 & 57 18:16 07-10-06 14-37 & B766 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard to reports of a windsurfer sighted in difficulty in strong winds and choppy seas between Hartlepool and Crimdon.  Area searched in failing light with nothing found, believed to be a false alarm with good intent.
54 & 55 15:26 01-10-06 14-37 & B766 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard to locate and assist a vessel believed to be in trouble in the Hartlepool Area.  Vessel located and escorted to Hartlepool Marina.
53 14:55 30-09-06 14-37 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard to assist a 25' Yacht with 2 persons on board with an overheated engine.  Vessel towed to Kafiga Landings.
52 14:59 24-09-06 14-37 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard to assist a fishing vessel lost in fog near Redcar.  Vessel located using Direction Finding VHF and Radar and escorted to entrance of the River Tees.
51 19:04 23-09-06 14-37 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard to assist a 23' Yacht that had ran out of fuel in fog near to Hartlepool Marina.  Vessel located using Direction Finding VHF and Radar and towed to Hartlepool Marina.

49 18:13 13-09-06 B766 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard following reports of a boat in difficulty at Newburn Bridge.  Vessel Landed ashore unaided.
48 22:35 12-09-06 14-37 Following completion of previous service Lifeboat re-tasked to reports of an epirb signal being picked up via satellite.  Area searched with nothing found on next pass of satellite.
47 20:16 12-09-06 14-37 Launched to take over tow from Tynemouth Lifeboat of 18m Fishing Vessel back to Kafiga Landings.
46 16:40 11-09-06 B766 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard following reports of a couple cut off by the tide at the Blue Lagoon.  Persons returned to shore unaided as Hartlepool ILB arrived onscene.
45 13:34 09-09-06 B766 Following completion of service below Hartlepool ILB was retasked by Humber Coatstguard to a windsurfer in difficulty at Redcar.  Windsurfer escorted back to beach to Redcar Coastguard.
44 13:06 09-09-06 B766 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard following reports of a small motor boat broken down near South Gare.  As Hartlepool ILB arrived vessel had successfully restarted engine as was escorted to nearby slipway.
43 10:17 09-09-06 B766 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard following reports of a jetski on the rocks at littlescar.  Hartlepool ILB towed Ski and took rider back to Middleton Beach.
42 18:17 28-08-06 B766 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard following reports of a small motor cruiser pinned against the inner harbour wall with mechanical failure and no communications.  No assistance was required and Hartlepool ILB Stood by whilst vessel was recovered to slipway.
41 20:00 24-08-06 14-37 Diverted from exercise to assist a small powerboat with 2 persons onboard, 1 person had suffered a suspected broken arm near to Saltscar Rocks.  Casualty and Vessel taken to Hartlepool Marina.
40 19:04 23-08-06 14-37 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard following reports of a red flar ebeing sighted in the Tees Bay area.  No targets where visible or picked up on Radar, after search of the area the incident was classed as a false alarm.
39 15:15 21-08-06 B766 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard to assist a 19' Vessel off the North Gare.  Vessel taken under tow to Hartlepool Marina.
38 17:05 11-08-06 14-37 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard to assist a 10m yacht with 2 persons on board 5 miles east of the South Gare.  The Yacht had suffered engine failure and damaged sails in rough weather.  Yacht taken under tow to Hartlepool Marina.
37 15:48 25-07-06 B766 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard to report of a person jumping into the water at the entrance to Hartlepool Marina.  Man had jumped from a yacht and swam ashore unaided requiring no further assistance.
36 20:05 24-07-06 B766 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard to assist a small speedboat that had broken down with 5 persons on board.  Speedboat taken under tow to Hartlepool Yacht club slipway.
35 18:55 24-07-06 B766 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard following a report of a Kitesurfer that required assistance near Littlescar.  Kitesurfer made own way ashore before Inshore Lifeboat arrived onscene.
34 20:40 23-07-06 B766 Direct Launch Page initiated by Humber Coastguard to a confirmed person in the water at Newburn bridge outfall.  Casualty recovered from the water by the Inshore Lifeboat Crew, kept warm and taken back to Hartlepool Lifeboat Station for further medical treatment.  Casualty was transferred to Hospital by Ambulance. 
32 & 33 18:44 23-07-06 14-22 & B766 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard following reports of a small boat with three children aboard drifting out to sea near Steetley Pier.  Vessel returned to shore unaided and Hartlepool Coastguard provided safety advice.
31 16:57 21-07-06 14-22 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard to assist in locating a vessel constantly transmitting and blocking VHF Channel 16.  Using Direction Finding VHF equipment Hartlepool Lifeboat found the source of the signal to be a large commercial vessel in the Tees Bay Anchorage.  Humber Coastguard made contact with the vessel and the transmissions ceased.
30 10:52 09-07-06 14-22 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard to assist a 30' Coble with gearbox failure.  Vessel towed to Kafiga Landings.
28 & 29 17:47 03-07-06 14-22 & B766 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to a vessel that was lost in fog and had reported grounding on several occasions.  Inshore lifeboat and All Weather Lifeboat Launched and used Direction Finding VHF and Radar to locate vessel in vicinity of the outfall pipes at Seaton Carew - Visibility on Scene less than 100m.  Vessel escorted back to Hartlepool Marina.
27 09:10 03-07-06 14-22 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to a 999 call from a vessel that had broken down and was lost in fog in a reported position 2 miles offshore at Huntcliffe. All Weather Lifeboat Launched assisted by Redcar Lifeboat and Inshore Lifeboat.  Casualty vessel later Identified its position after it had drifted past a navigation mark approx 4 miles off Boulby, Staithes Lifeboat took vessel under tow and returned to Skinningrove - Visibility on Scene less than 100m
26 15:05 25-06-06 B766 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard to assist a 16' Powerboat on the rocks at Newburn Bridge.  Powerboat taken under tow to the Tees and Hartlepool Yacht Club slipway.
25 15:43 20-06-06 14-22 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard to assist a Yacht 2 miles east of the Heugh with a fouled propeller. Yacht taken under tow to Kafiga Landings
24 10:26 17-06-06 14-22 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard to assist 32' Coble South East of the Heugh with 2 POB, vessel taken under tow and returned to Kaifiga Landings.
23 13:33 12-06-06 14-22 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard to assist a 5m fishing vessel with a rope around its propeller off the Heugh Breakwater, Vessel escorted to Kafiga Landings
22 14:51 11-06-06 B766 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard to assist an dingy drifting out to sea in the area of Steetley Pier.  Dingy Located and taken back to shore, Safety advice subsequently given by Hartlepool Coastguard Unit
21 09:10 05-06-06 14-22 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard to assist an injured crewmember from a vessel off Hartlepool that had been struck in the face by a chain.  Casualty was brought ashore to receive medical attention, then the Lifeboat returned to the vessel to escort into Hartlepool.
20 18:14 04-06-06 B766 Launch requested by Humber Coastguard to assist 17' Motor boat with mechanical failure.  Vessel taken under tow and returned to Hartlepool Marina.
19 16:47 30-05-06 14-37 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard following Vessel reported at Seaham from shore disappearing over a wave.  Area searched in choppy seas with nothing found.
18 17:37 11-05-06 B766 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard following reports of a person in the water at Seaton Carew.  Inshore Lifeboat Crew recovered a man from the water onto the beach, who was subsequently transported to an ambulance by Hartlepool Coastguard MRU.  Man taken to hospital by Ambulance.
17 10:15 06-05-06 14-37 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard following a call from a 30' Yacht, 10 miles East of Hartlepool that had suffered engine failure and with a lack of wind preventing it from sailing away from commercial traffic. Hartlepool Lifeboat launched and towed the Yacht to Kafiga Landings
16 09:58 08-04-06 14-37 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard following a call from a fishing vessel that had picked up a mine in its nets.  Hartlepool Lifeboat launched to provide safety cover and await the arrival of the Royal Navy Bomb Disposal Team.  Mine later detonated near to Longscar Rock by the Bomb disposal Team after which the Lifeboat returned to station arriving at approximately 1730hrs.
15 08:49 29-03-06 B766 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard following concern for the safety of a female who had gone missing from Hospital. ILB Launched and carried out a search in the Blackhall and Crimdon Area with Nothing found. Female later returned home.
14 08:52 18-03-06 14-37 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard following a call from a 2 vessels, 1 under tow the vessel under tow had started to take on water and required assistance getting back to port.  Hartlepool Lifeboat proceeded and took the casualty vessel under tow, returning it to Kafiga Landings..
13 08:31 13-03-06 14-37 Immediate Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard following a Voice Mayday from a Fishing Vessel that was taking water Hartlepool Lifeboat and Rescue 131 Attended and placed pumps on board Casualty vessel which reduced the levels of the water.  Vessel then escorted back to Kafiga Landings.
12 21:05 06-03-06 14-37 Immediate Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard following a Voice Mayday in the Hartlepool Area.  Coastguard acknowledged but received no reply.  Hartlepool Lifeboat and Rescue 131 Investigated, with nothing found.
11 11:40 02-03-06 B766 Launch Requested to assist Cleveland Police with recovery of a person that had fallen from a cliff.  On arrival it was clear that the casualty was on the beach and due to the Sea conditions (3-4m) the ILB was stood down and returned to Station.
9 & 10 18:15 20-02-06 14-37 & B766 Launch Requested to report of a Man cut off on the end of the Heugh Breakwater in worsening weather conditions.  Hartlepool ILB tasked to investigate and Hartlepool Lifeboat tasked to provide safety cover. Man escorted from Breakwater by Coastguards.
8 19:50 18-02-06 B766 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to reports of a person entering the Sea at Redcar, ILB searched along with Lifeboats from Redcar and Helicopter Rescue 131.
7 20:26 16-02-06 14-37 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to Assist Vessel with Power Failure in the Vicinity of Steetley Pier.  Vessel taken under tow back to Kafiga Landings.
6 16:04 29-01-06 B766 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to reports of a possible body sighted from Maritime Point.  ILB investigated and located a piece of timber at position of sighting, with no further objects in the water ILB returned to station.
5 12:02 24-01-06 14-37 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to Assist Vessel with problems 8 miles N.E. of Hartlepool. Hartlepool Lifeboat was launched and casualty was taken under tow and taken to Paddy's Hole.
3 & 4 08:24 19-01-06 14-37 & B766 Large scale sea, air & shore search for missing fishing boat. Two Lifeboats from Hartlepool, two from Redcar and one from Teesmouth, Coastguard teams and two RAF Sea King helicopters involved. Vessel found unmanned by Teesmouth lifeboat approx 15 miles east of Hartlepool. Search for skipper called off at sunset. See BBC report.
2 23:43 18-01-06 B766 Immediate Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to person in the water in Jackson Dock, ILB could not gain entry into Marina due to state of tide.  A shore party in dry suits and lifejackets had already been dispatched to scene as ILB launched. Person subsequently recovered from water by others, their condition is unknown at present.
1 11:29 06-01-06 14-37 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to Small Fishing Vessel that had an object around its propeller. Hartlepool Lifeboat was launched and casualty was taken under tow from the vicinity of Longscar Rock and taken to Kafiga Landings.
