30 17:03 20-12-05 14-37 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to Small Fishing Vessel that had suffered mechanical failure.  Hartlepool Lifeboat launched and casualty taken under tow to Hartlepool Marina.
28 & 29 17:34 06-12-05 14-37 & B766 Lifeboat Launch Initiated by Humber Coastguard following reports of a fishing boat taking water just off the Heugh Breakwater.  Vessel subsequently sunk and 2 men recovered from water, 1 man recovered into a nearby fishing vessel and another was located by a further fishing vessel, whose crew held him in the water but were unable to recover him into their boat.  The Lifeboat took over and took the man back to a waiting ambulance at Hartlepool Fish Quay. 27 15:38 04-12-05 14-37 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to Fishing Boat with electrical failure, Hartlepool Lifeboat launched and casualty towed to Hartlepool Marina.
26 06:35 04-12-05 B766 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to Reports of a Man entering the water near to the Staincliffe Hotel in Seaton Carew, Man recovered from water by 2 Cleveland Police Officers.  Hartlepool Lifeboat & ILB launched and stood down when man was on route to Hospital.
25 08:55 26-11-05 14-37 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to Large Whitby Trawler suffering from contaminated fuel.  Due to the weather conditions (6-7m waves) Lifeboat launched and escorted casualty back to Kafiga Landings.
23 & 24 21:38 30-10-05 14-37 & B766 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to Reports of a Man entering the water near to the Heugh, Man later located ashore safe and well.  Hartlepool Lifeboat & ILB launched and subsequently stood down.
21 & 22 11:34 30-10-05 14-37 & B766 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to Small Fishing Vessel that had suffered mechanical failure and was drifting towards the Heugh.  Hartlepool Lifeboat & ILB launched and casualty taken under tow to Kafiga Landings.
20 20:34 24-09-05 14-37 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to Yacht that had suffered mechanical failure.  Hartlepool Lifeboat launched and casualty taken under tow to Hartlepool Marina.
19 14:55 16-09-05 B766 B766 Launched to small motor vessel who's Skipper had taken ill.  Upon arrival alongside casualty, the Skipper was barely conscious, vessel and Skipper were taken back to the Boathouse and the Skipper was taken to Hospital by Ambulance.
17 & 18 12:29 28-08-05 14-37 & B766 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to the Lazer World Qualifying Event being held in the Tees Bay, as the weather worsened Event control requested assistance Hartlepool Lifeboat and ILB were Launched along with Teesmouth Lifeboat, Redcar Lifeboat and Redcar ILB, Police Helicopter I55 was also involved, Lifeboat and ILB returned to station at 16:30 & 16:45 - BBC Press Report - MCA Press Release
16 03:40 28-08-05 14-37 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to a 30' Cobble that had suffered mechanical failure and was taking on water.  Lifeboat located the vessel near to Steetley Pier, a pump was placed on board and the casualty towed back to Hartlepool Fish Quay.  Upon arrival at the Quay the casualty was passed into the care of Hartlepool Coastguard and Cleveland Fire Brigade who continued with the pumping out until the skipper made alternative arrangements.  The Lifeboat returned to station and was ready for service at 0600 - BBC Press Report
15 20:57 24-08-05 14-37 Launch Initiated by Humber Coastguard to reports of a vessel on fire Lifeboat launched along with Teesmouth Lifeboat and RAF Helicopter Rescue 128.  At approximately 2140 Rescue Helicopter 128 reported to be on scene above a vessel approx 17 miles east of Hartlepool. The vessel showed evidence of a fire onboard, which the Master confirmed had been in his paint locker but was now extinguished. The vessel, 176 metre Car Carrier "Grande Spangna" informed R128 that he was waiting for another hour until he was certain that the fire was completely out.  Humber Coastguard then stood down Teesmouth Lifeboat and R128, As Hartlepool Lifeboat was only 5 minutes from the Grande Spangna, the Lifeboat stood by until the Master confirmed that he was continuing with his passage. -
14 13:59 16-08-05 B766 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to Small Speedboat that had suffered mechanical failure.  B766 launched and casualty taken under tow to Hartlepool Yacht Club Slipway.
13 15:44 05-08-05 14-37 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to a small Motor Vessel that had suffered gearbox problems, approx 5 miles off Seaham whilst on route from Royal Quays to Hartlepool Marina.  14-37 launched and casualty taken under tow to Hartlepool Marina.
12 18:57 24-07-05 B766 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to Yacht that had suffered mechanical failure.  B766 launched and casualty taken under tow to Hartlepool Marina.
11 18:30 23-07-05 B766 Launched to Motor Vessel that was suffering fuel problems.  B766 launched and casualty taken under tow to Hartlepool Marina.
n/a 15:30 23-07-05 14-37 Assisted Lord Rank, a visitor to Hartlepool from the Tall Ships fleet who had lost their propeller the night previous. Link
10 15:29 12-07-05 N/A Humber Coastguard requested launch of Inshore Lifeboat to children drifting in an inflatable at Blackhall Rocks.  Launch cancelled when inflatable was recovered from the water.
9 15:36 23-06-05 B766 As Inshore lifeboat was about to return to station following incident below Humber Coastguard requested that the ILB investigate 999 calls for a person falling off a lilo and having difficulty getting back on.  Arrived on scene and provided safety advice to 2 youths on inflatables.
8 15:06 23-06-05 B766 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to Inflatable Dingy with 2 persons on board drifting out to sea towards Longscar Rocks.  B766 launched and casualty retuned to safety at Newburn Bridge.
7 18:49 21-06-05 B766 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to Speedboat that had suffered mechanical failure.  B766 launched and casualty taken under tow to Hartlepool Marina.
6 20:14 19-06-05 N/A Humber Coastguard requested launch of Inshore Lifeboat to a person in the water at Seaton Carew.  Launch cancelled when Person was recovered from the water.
5 16:45 28-05-05 14-37 Launched to yacht with engine failure on passage into to Hartlepool in 40-50 knot gusting winds.  Due to weather conditions Yacht taken under tow to Hartlepool Fish Quay. - Pictures
4 19:00 12-04-05 B766 Diverted from exercise to tow small angling boat with mechanical failure to Kafiga Landings
3 15:30 03-04-05 B766 Launched following 999 call to Humber Coastguard reporting 3 children cut off by the tide at Crimdon. Upon arrival on scene it was ascertained that the children had returned to safety unaided and were met by Hartlepool Coastguards on the beach.
2 15:06 03-04-05 14-22 Launched to Small Fishing Vessel suffering from mechanical difficulties east of the Heugh.  Vessel taken under tow and taken to Kafiga landings. - Pictures
1 15:56 19-03-05 B766 Launch Requested by Humber Coastguard to Speedboat that had possibly suffered mechanical failure.  B766 launched but casualty had already been towed to Hartlepool Yacht Club Slipway by a passing vessel.
